~~~~~  THE LATTER DAYS CHRONOLOGY  ~~~~~

After studying the Bible I came to see/realize that God has always known that He wrote regarding ancient events in an “hidden way” ( Proverbs 25:2 ),
and so, He didn’t command to his worshipers to find the real/exact chronology or datas of events of human history and its empires and states from Adam until today ...
... in case He would have commanded this , knowing how difficult is to come to a conclusion in chronology and how much time it requires , then God’s worshipers would be called “historians”, not “Christians”!

But now , though, a certain “chronology” still exists , and God does invite us to understand it , even in order to “know the judgement”
Ecclesiastes 8:5
" Whoso keepeth the commandment shall know no evil thing;
and a wise man’s heart discerneth time and judgment

Yes , it is a good thing to know the time of God’s judgement !

Here are Jesus words / Luke 19:
41. And when he drew nigh, he saw the city and wept over it,
42. saying, If thou hadst known in this day, even thou, the things which belong unto peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.
43. For the days shall come upon thee, when thine enemies shall cast up a bank about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,
44. and shall dash thee to the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another;
because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.

here we are able to see that is a good thing to be able to recognize the time of our “visitation” >> that implies a few knowledge of “chronology”

BUT, what (kind of) chronology ?

The chronology God requires from us to search for, is part of prophecies regarding “God’s people during the latter days” , as He said to Daniel
chapter 10:14
" Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall
– thy people
– in the latter days; for the vision is yet for many days "

It follows that the chronology God is requiring from us/His worshipers/ to search for, is in fact the chronology of the latter days !

Further, Jesus said: Matthew 24:35,36

35. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

36. But of that day and hour knoweth no one, not even the angels of heaven, neither the Son, but the Father only.

When speaking about "chronology" people usually think about finding the "data" for a literal end , or Armageddon.
A such "data" is not disclosed to humans nor will it be , because it belongs to Jehovah!
So, ANY chronology humans can invent will NOT guess that "day and hour" because it is kept under Father's control.

Therefore, the purpose our Father is revealing the "latter days chronology" for, from His prophetic word, is strictly for his "wise ones" in order to know/understand the main events they themselves are experiencing during the "latter days" , and when is the judgement (the time of our visitation) .



Here is a research on the “latter days chronology” , as I was able to put it in english:


No, I don't mean how many years (exactly) there are from Adam's creation until today... , because God did wrote the Bible according to his statement , "concealing the things" - Prov. 25:2.
...Nor how long is a "Creation Day" (of Genesis ) , because the length of the Creation days is not revealed to humans .

By "THE BIBLE CHRONOLOGY" expression I mean the prophetically "times" shown in Daniel's book , also in Revelation , and referred by Jesus in Luke 21:24.

They are "the seven times", "a time, times and half of time", "1260 days" , "1290 days" , "1335 days", "2300 evenings and mornings", "42 months" .
(Here I don't mention the "70 weeks" because these are not known yet. )

These times/chronology were not known to humans from the time of their uttering (in prophecies) until the recent time/years , so , no christian and no man on earth could know them !
Why that ?
Because they were parts of the prophecies wich were sealed by God , according to His will !
Daniel 12
9. And he said, Go thy way, Daniel;
for the words are shut up and sealed till the time of the end.

So, now it is easy to understand why all christians during the time from Jesus onward , and also during the "latter days" , until a few years ago, (2002) have failed when have tryied to explain or to "interpret" these times and when tryied to find their exactly "timeframe" , or corelation .
I have to say that all interpretations (of these times) believed by bro. Russell and the followers were not correct , they were "before-time" explanations, and , unfortunately, they were our "background" "in truth" .

Furthermore, these periods of time are directly related to an action which had to take place within "God's people" during the "latter days" , that is , the manifestation of the "man of lawlessness" which was kept secret .
The apostle Paul in 2Thessalonicians 2 says
7. For the mystery of lawlessness doth already work: only there is one that restraineth now, until he be taken out of the way.

8 And then shall be revealed the lawless one, whom the Lord Jesus shall slay with the breath of his mouth, and bring to nought by the manifestation of his coming;

Clearly, these "seven times" spoken by Daniel are directly related with the "lawlesness one" , which "lawlesness one" (his works and the times he is acting) is revealed at Jesus "coming" , of course , the "second" coming.
And the "the manifestation of his coming" is started already !

So, the "times" spoken of in Daniel are part of prophecies regarding God's people at the "latter days" (Dan. 10:14).
In fact, they represint the lenghtness of a certain actions during the latter days.

And now, the very important point is, that Jehovah has foretold the fact that His people will not understand these things (what will happen to him) until the end of the "latter days" period !
It is written
Jeremiah 23
20. The anger of Jehovah shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the intents of his heart:
in the latter days ye shall understand it perfectly.
Jeremiah 30
24. The fierce anger of Jehovah shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the intents of his heart:
in the latter days ye shall understand it.

The idea is that toward the end of the "latter days" period "ye shall understand perfectly" , that is the "end time", when Christ is "at the door" and He starts the judgement at "God's House", the Temple.

Again, Daniel's chonologies/times could not be understood before or prior the time of the understanding of the "Song of Moses" prophecy , because this Song is the key to understand the course of the events that take place during the "latter days" !

Well , when does the "latter days" begin ?
Absolutely interesting , there is no chronology in the Bible to point to , or to show when the "latter days" starts !
Because all these (period of)"times" of Daniel and Revelation have their place inside or within or during... the latter days !

So, the important question remains , when do  the "latter days" start/ begin ?

In order to get the answer , we have to search first for the foretold events of the "latter days"
and when we can see the first main event , that necessarily must be an action of God , then we can approach to that time !

The Song of Moses states the fact that Jehovah has a people , He has mercy on him and cares of him
Deut.32
9. For Jehovah's portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.

10. He found him in a desert land, And in the waste howling wilderness;
He compassed him about, he cared for him, He kept him as the apple of his eye.

related to this we find also in Hosea 11
1. When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt. (this world)

We see here that there is a peacefull relationship between Jehovah , and His "son" , Jacob
and He called him "out of Egypt"
very important : "out of Egypt" , and then, "in wilderness" or "wasted land" (where is no food)
The following step is, Jehovah gives food to them : the bread from heaven !
Psalm 78
24. And he rained down manna upon them to eat,
And gave them food from heaven.
Psalm 105
40. They asked, and he brought quails, And satisfied them with the bread of heaven.

Jesus explains what the "bread from heaven" is ... John 6
33. For the bread of God is that which cometh down out of heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
48. I am the bread of life.
51. I am the living bread which came down out of heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: yea and the bread which I will give is my flesh, for the life of the world.

"Jesus teaching" is that both his own body "given as offering"/"ransom price" , along with the teaching regarding how this ransom works means or is "the bread from heaven" !

Searching for a such an event , we find it in the book "Proclaimers" , at page 718 under the title " NOTEWORTHY EVENTS ..." this statement :

-- 1872 Russell and his study group come to appreciate the ransom price that Christ provided for humankind

Through a further study of the latter days events within "God's people" we will come to fully appreciate this data as the time when the "latter days get start" .

How the "relationship" between Jehovah and His people have gone forward (from 1872) we may find by reading the Song of Moses and also Hosea chapter 11 .

Now , at this point we find in God's word ... Hosea 12
13. And by a prophet Jehovah brought Israel up out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved.
we may see here the role Jehovah has given to Bro. Russell as "a prophet".

The fact that Russell and his group of study have eat the "bread from heaven" is not the result of a man wisdom , but surely it is God's act !
He gave that light to his people on earth , and that was the distinctive sign that they are "Jehovah's people" , called for this purpose :
Titus 2
14. who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity,
and purify unto himself a people for his own possession, zealous of good works.

And, what were Jehovah's expectations regarding His people ?
Isaiah 63 :
8. For he said, Surely, they are my people, children that will not deal falsely: so he was their Saviour.

Before to step forward on chronology, we have to emphasis on the "Heavenly Bread"

Why does God gave it to his people ?

The Heavenly bread is absolutely necessary to be eaten by each individual in order to become saint before God !

More than having faith that Jesus' death does provide the ransom for each son of Adam , the Bread from heaven is also a certain teaching of God preached by Jesus, explaining how this ransom works !
After requiring faith in Him , Jesus did teach/preached that that the man has to obey Father's commandaments and to clean his heart !
Why to clean the heart -the innerside ?
Let listen to Jesus
Mark 7
20 And he said, That which proceedeth out of the man, that defileth the man.
21 For from within, out of the heart of men, evil thoughts proceed, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries,
22 covetings, wickednesses, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, railing, pride, foolishness:
23 all these evil things proceed from within, and defile the man.

20. And He said,
What comes out of a man is what makes a man unclean and renders [him] unhallowed.
................................
23. All these evil [purposes and desires] come from within, and they make the man unclean and render him unhallowed.

God's clearly expressed will toward his people is
Leviticus 20
26. And ye shall be holy unto me: for I, Jehovah, am holy, and have set you apart from the peoples, that ye should be mine.

By his words, Jesus puts the responsability of cleaning the heart upon each one of his faithfull !
Why that ?
Because "out of one's heart" comes the "wilfully sin"
What kind of heart has a man who commit wilfully sin ?
A wicked heart (before Jehovah) !

So, Biblically , holly/saint = clean , as ap. Paul helps us to understand
1 Thess. 4
7. For God called us not for uncleanness, but in sanctification

Why did Jesus commanded us to "clean our innerside/heart" ?

Because the things come out from a wicked/uncleaned heart are wilfully sins/transgressions , and they are not covered/forgived by His blood , "after received the knowledge of the truth" !

Apostle Paul clearly expressed that in Hebrew 10
26. For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more a sacrifice for sins,

27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and a fierceness of fire which shall devour the adversaries.

Then, what kind of sins are forgiven after ones "consecration" ?
They are called "infirmities", "weaknesses"
Heb. 4
15. For we have not a high priest that cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but one that hath been in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
16. Let us therefore draw near with boldness unto the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace to help us in time of need.

15. For we do not have a High Priest Who is unable to understand and sympathize and have a shared feeling with our weaknesses and infirmities and liability to the assaults of temptation, but One Who has been tempted in every respect as we are, yet without sinning.

Here it is the place to ask : why does the "fornicator" from Corinth has been forgiven ?
Does that proves that the wilfully sin is forgiven ?
Surely NOT !

But the reality is, when a man comes "from darkness to the light" , this is a process which requires some time . It does not happen instantly .
In this case God's mercy works this way : the repented person is forgiven with the strongly aknowledgement :to NOT repeat it anymore !
Let's see Jesus procedure in a such case
John 8
11. She answered, No one, Lord! And Jesus said, I do not condemn you either. Go on your way and from now on sin no more.

Let repeat this very important truth of God, exprimed also by Jesus :

The wilfully sin is NOT forgiven after being received the knowledge of the truth ! ( Hebrew 10:26. )

The above truth is a component part of the "Heavenly Bread" (a teaching) that every human soul must eat (learn it, believe it, obey it and practice it ) in order to gain LIFE and remain in LIFE .

This teaching was understood by Russel and all others who were "called to be holy"
That was that they have eaten "the Bread of heaven".

So, by eating it, Russell and his co-workers became "saints" , and so, at that point did start to happen the things foretold by God regarding the "people of saints" , as written in Daniel 7.

Also, according to Jesus parable about "wheat and weeds" , imediately after being the wheat sowed , someone/an enemy (a very known one) has sown the "weeds" among the wheat
and so, at that point did started to fulfill Jesus parable ...during the "latter days" , both the wheat and the weeds co-existing under the name of "God's people"
(but they were so alike, that no man could do any diference between the wheat and weeds ! )

The fact is that Russell and Rutherford have appreciated this Bread from heaven and they did not taught others to sin wilfully , but to avoid sin .

But the new team of seven persons who took control over God's people after Rutherford's death have proved to NOT apreciate that Bread from Heaven , that is, that they alloved the wilfully sin , of course , not in an open manner , but accordingly to what was written
2 Peter 2
1. But there arose false prophets also among the people, as among you also there shall be false teachers,
who shall privily bring in destructive heresies, denying even the Master that bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.
2. And many shall follow their lascivious doings; by reason of whom the way of the truth shall be evil spoken of.

1. BUT ALSO [in those days] there arose false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among yourselves,
who will subtly and stealthily introduce heretical doctrines (destructive heresies), even denying and disowning the Master Who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.

Indeed, the Man of Lawlessness has "subtly and stealthily" thrown the truth (about Christ's sacrifice) on the ground , but he did it ! ( Daniel 8:10-12 ).

Reading further on Song of Moses we find that God took care for his people , but they acted like that
Deut 32
16. They provoked Him to jealousy with strange gods,
with abominations they provoked Him to anger.

And God answered this way:
19. And the Lord saw it and He spurned and rejected them, out of indignation with His sons and His daughters.

20. And He said, I will hide My face from them, I will see what their end will be; for they are a perverse generation, children in whom is no faithfulness.

21. They have moved Me to jealousy with what is not God; they have angered Me with their idols. So I will move them to jealousy with those who are not a people; I will anger them with a foolish nation.

We can see/discern here that God became angered or wrathful , so, the original peaceful relation between He and his people turned into "anger"
So. at a certain point/time , a new period started , a "Day of God's anger against his own people" .

What does happen when God hides His Face from them ?
Psalm 67
1. May God be gracious to us and bless us
and make his face shine upon us,

Psalm 119
135. Make your face shine upon your servant
and teach me your decrees.

We see, the hidden Face of God means darkness, no new understanding from Bible, no blessing ...

Now , regarding "chronology" , when does that happen ?

We find a prophecy in Genesis 41 , Joseph does interpret a dream of Pharaoh
16. "I cannot do it," Joseph replied to Pharaoh, "but God will give Pharaoh the answer he desires."
..................
29. Seven years of great abundance are coming throughout the land of Egypt,
30. but seven years of famine will follow them. Then all the abundance in Egypt will be forgotten, and the famine will ravage the land.
31. The abundance in the land will not be remembered, because the famine that follows it will be so severe.

Being "all scripture" written for us, upon whom the ends of the ages are come, we see that there were
"seven years of great abundance" ...followed by "seven years of famine "
seven years/times and other seven years/times

so, to "latter days" are composed by "seven times of abundance + seven times of famine"

well, but how long are the first "seven times" ?
regarding the following "seven times" (of famine) , they should be equal with the first ones

Now , the answer is given by Jehovah , who is fulfiling His Own word , and Who set the times "within His own authority".

As in the previous post we have seen , both Russell and Rutherford have correctly appreciated the Jesus sacrifice , but those who came after Rutherford death - in 1942 - have worked against the "sacrifice" , and that identify them as "oposers of truth"
Look ! a new period , when the oposers of truth came/arose to "govern" over God's people , and fighting against the saints !

We see : from 1872 till 1942 there were 70 years , when God gave food to his own
and in 1942 a new period of "seven times" have begun" (surely, of famine )
the second "seven times" have to be equal with the first ones , so they last untill 2012.

these second "seven times" are, in fact , the "seven times of gentiles"
these gentiles forms "the nation" through which God does anger his people
the Song of Moses , verse 21 says
"....So I will move them to jealousy with those who are not a people; I will anger them with a foolish nation.

we see that God does speak "now a way, then, another way"
"the gentiles" are shown here as " those who are not a people" and "a foolish nation"

regarding these "seven times" when God shows His anger against "Ieshurun" or "Israel" , they were advertised also by other prophets
Joel 2
1. Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain; let all the inhabitants of the land tremble:
for the day of Jehovah cometh, for it is nigh at hand;

2. a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, as the dawn spread upon the mountains; a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after them, even to the years of many generations.

Ezekiel 34
12. As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered abroad, so will I seek out my sheep; and I will deliver them out of all places whither they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.

We see clear that this day is God's day of anger against His own people , when He delivered them unto the hands of the "nations"
It is not the Day of judgement (the end time) !

God's day against all nations does follow after the "seven times" , and for His people of saints this is a day of "acceptable time" and "day of salvation" , as written :
Isaiah 49
8. Thus saith Jehovah, In an acceptable time have I answered thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee; and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to raise up the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritages.

The Song of Moses does tell us that at the end (when God's anger will end ), God will proceede to judgement
Deut 32
36. For Jehovah will judge his people, And repent himself for his servants; When he seeth that their power is gone, And there is none remaining, shut up or left at large.
40. For I lift up my hand to heaven, And say, As I live for ever,
41. If I whet my glittering sword, And my hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine adversaries, And will recompense them that hate me.
43 Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people: For he will avenge the blood of his servants, And will render vengeance to his adversaries, And will make expiation for his land, for his people.

What is to be expected at the end of the "seven times of gentiles" ?

Jehovah's judgement !

Jehovah God is a God of order .

That means , He does everything in a certain order , that is , each of His work at His appointed time , as it is written
Ecclesiastes 3
1. For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven:
2. a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
4 a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

Jehovah has decided the Song of Moses as a special prophecy for the sons of Jacob
Deuteronomy 31
19. Now therefore write ye this song for you, and teach thou it the children of Israel: put it in their mouths,
that this song may be a witness for me against the children of Israel.
21. And it shall come to pass, when many evils and troubles are come upon them,
that this song shall testify before them as a witness;
for it shall not be forgotten out of the mouths of their seed:
for I know their imagination which they frame this day, before I have brought them into the land which I sware.

In Revelation we find an important characteristic of those (saints) who follow the Lamb and them that come off victorious from the beast...
Revelation 15
3. And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God,
and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, O Lord God, the Almighty; righteous and true are thy ways, thou King of the ages.

Indeed , the Song of Moses is a special prophecy for the Israel of God
This Song does prove to be a "spinal column" of all prophecies regarding "God's people in the latter days"
It help us to understand the place for the rest of prophecies , and also their time (of fulfiling )

The Song of Moses states very clear , that firstly, after being brought out of Egypt , there is a time when God cares on them, and feed them - that is a time of prosperity !
-- then, because of their disobedience , it follow a period when God does manifest His anger toward them and hids His Face from them - that is a time of famine !
-- and at last , God intervenne with His Judgement , which is a time of favour for His repented sons , and vengeance against His enemies - the opressors of His people !

These are three periods/seasons , which follow one after another in God's established order !
Their order cannot be interchanged by merely men through their own/private interpretation of prophecies !

All these three periods/seasons does compose "the latter days" , except the fact that "the judgement" is a special time named "the end" , and toward the end of the Day of Judgement , when the Temple is cleaned and the Kingdom (of the earth) is given to the people of Saints of Most High , The Christ is come !

The fact that this succession of events are to be fulfilled "within" the latter days and within of God's people is a statement of Jehovah sent to Daniel (chapt.10 )
14. Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall
thy people
in the latter days;
for the vision is yet for many days:

Well , someone may say : "the verse 14 speaks about an action described at verse 1, Dan 10.
let listen the verse 1
1. In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar;
and the thing was true, even a great warfare:
and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.

Well, what "warfare" was that vision about ?

There was only one warfare prophetised for the latter days :
that one during the day of God's anger against His own people !

this war was also prophetised by Habakkuk 1 and 2, read it !

Here we have established a truth :
-- only once there were seven times of prosperity during the latter days
then,
-- only once there were "seven times of gentiles" , which caused famine in the country (during the latter days),
and at last,
-- only once there is the "day of Judgement" ( which ends the "latter days" period) , and during it , the Kingdom is to be established on earth , being given to the "people of saints" / Daniel 7: 22,27.

It is important to be clearly stated when does take place the "latter days" :
-- are they a period starting with "pentecosta" , so , during the first century ?
-- or are they separated from Jesus and the apostles time through a long period/time ?

I am posting this because I see there are opinions that the latter days took place in the first century , and from that time on is only a waiting time - that means God and Jesus are not involved with any "people" - or group of Christians of our days.

Firstly, it is Jesus who said that God's word is truth , and by this He stated/agreed that God's prophecy regarding Jesus waiting on the Right side of Father in Heaven until the enemies will be put as footstool for Jesus ... is truth !
Psalm 110
1. Jehovah saith unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, Until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
2. Jehovah will send forth the rod of thy strength out of Zion: Rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

In an anterior post I have shown from Jesus words that "his coming" means a time when He acts/works for fulfilling prophecies.
His waiting at Father's Right Hand means He/Jesus was waiting , or , non acting anything concerning the earth (He was ruling only in Heaven) except that He has been always with His brothers , comforting them. (Matt 28:20)

Another proof is a parable uttered by Jesus
Luke 20:
9. And he began to speak unto the people this parable: A man planted a vineyard, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into another country for a long time.

And another proof is found in Peter's speech at Acts 3:
".......the Christ who hath been appointed for you, even Jesus:
21. whom the heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, whereof God spake by the mouth of His holy prophets that have been from of old."

The expression " the heaven must receive" indicates the fact that Jesus will use His authority only in Heaven untill the appointed time (appointed by Father) will come to start using the authority on earth.

It is Father who decides for how long Jesus had to wait at his Father's right hand !
And also, in Bible there is no chronology given to point to when the permission for Christ to act on earth is given , because the lenght of the "wait time" is under Father's control !

As I have demostrated, around 1872 the "latters days" have start
because then took place on earth an action made by God through Jesus as His executor , and through the Holy Spirit : the feeding of His "people" with the "bread from Heaven" .

Regarding the literal events that came over the stone Temple at Jerusalem in the first century , it had nothing to do with the real Temple of God , wich was a spiritual one , founded by Jesus !
So , those acts involving literal Israel with their literal Temple were not the acomplishment/fulfillment "with spirit" of the prophecies .

Furthermore , if the prophecies regarding the latter days would be fulfilled then , that means all prophecies had to be acomplished that period.
BUT let us see an example !
let's take Hosea 11
1. When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.
This prophecy has happen with Jesus - in the first century
Matthew 2
14. And he arose and took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt;
15. and was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt did I call my son.

Well , but Hosea does continues:
2. The more the prophets called them, the more they went from them: they sacrificed unto the Baalim, and burned incense to graven images.

Well , so , does Jesus acted as stated here ?
I think NOT ! (what do you think ? )

So, if Jesus did not acted as prophetised in all Hosea 11 , then who, and when does it fulfill that part ?
-- NOW , there must be another persons , in fact a group of persons who are "of Christ" , and they have to fulfill all Hosea 11 during the "latter days" , that is, not in the first century !

Here I will try to focus further on prophecies regarding each one of the three periods : of prosperity, of famine/destruction and Judgement .
The fact is, different parts of the chronology belongs to different prophecies , and so, to different contexts..
And here we faces Jehovah's way of "speaking" : "now a way , then another way" , and also , we faces the fact that Jehovah sees the heart of His creature .

Also Jesus sees the heart, and he said (Matthew 16 )
25. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it.
So , those who came out of the world to become "Christian" did that for one of the two reasons .
Because of that , the Christians are of "two categories" . Both of them go together until the "day of judgement" , and during that period they are separated : those losing their life "for Jesus" will "find the life" and will enter into God's Kingdom , and the other group "will loose it", as Jesus said.

Now , regarding the first period of seven times "of prosperity" , there are prophecies , but not many .
The prophecies regarding that period do focuses on the fact that God's people "leaves God" , and to the fact that God sends "prophets" to them , and also focuses on the "punishment" God will use against them.

-- Deuteronomy 32:5-18...
21. They made me jealous by what is no god
and angered me with their worthless idols.
I will make them envious by those who are not a people;
I will make them angry by a nation that has no understanding.

-- Deut. 28: (1-14), 15-68.
47. Because you did not serve the LORD your God joyfully and gladly in the time of prosperity,
48. therefore in hunger and thirst, in nakedness and dire poverty, you will serve the enemies the LORD sends against you. He will put an iron yoke on your neck until he has destroyed you.
49. The LORD will bring a nation against you from far away, from the ends of the earth, like an eagle swooping down, a nation whose language you will not understand,
50. a fierce-looking nation without respect for the old or pity for the young.
51. They will devour the young of your livestock and the crops of your land until you are destroyed. They will leave you no grain, new wine or oil, nor any calves of your herds or lambs of your flocks until you are ruined.

-- Hosea 8
1. SET THE trumpet to your lips! [The enemy] comes as a [great] vulture against the house of the Lord, because they have broken My covenant and transgressed against My law.

Indeed , Jehovah has accomplished this prophecy by announcing His people that the enemy ( the "man of lawlessness" ) will come over His people to oppress him and he (MOL ) will act/work against the "word" of God.
Here I invite you all to look for the W.T. from 1 October 1930 entitled "The Man of Lawlessness".
( when reading this subject, please separate the implications of the "1918 coming at the Temple" -wrong teaching, from the real warning that the MOL will be used by Satan to attack the saints - the "House of God" - an action still future for that time! ).

Now regarding the "seven times" of punishment and famine , there are a lot of prophecies , which shows different aspects
-- who are "the enemies" who invades "God's country" and the Temple
-- where they "come from" , what they think ,
-- what does "the saints" think , how they complain/lament and how they pray to Jehovah for forgiveness and help
-- God's promissions for helping them , comforting them , promising a right judgement, etc...
-- many prophecies regarding the enemy's actions and the time alloved for them, and their removing from God's country ,
-- a certain promision made by Jesus that "those days" will be shortened for the sake of the "chosen ones" / that means that the Messenger of the Covenant , Jesus Christ does come at the Temple some time "before" of the ending of the "seven times" of gentiles ...
-- promises and vows made by faithfull ones that they will obey the Father , their God, and never will leave Him and His ways again...

here I don't give examples because they are throughout the Bible and will be discussed later.

Regarding the "Day of Judgement" ,again, there are many prophecies and teachings in the Old Testament , Jesus teachings and parables, the apostles' letters and Revelation .

Regarding the second period of "seven times" , which are in fact God's day of wrath against His own people, we find in Bible several prophecies .

-- 1. Jeremiah 25
11. And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.
12. And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, saith Jehovah, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans; and I will make it desolate for ever.

-- 2. Jeremiah 29
10. For thus saith Jehovah, After seventy years are accomplished for Babylon, I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.

11. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope in your latter end.


-- 3. Daniel 4
14. He cried aloud, and said thus, Hew down the tree, and cut off its branches, shake off its leaves, and scatter its fruit: let the beasts get away from under it, and the fowls from its branches.
15. Nevertheless leave the stump of its roots in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven: and let his portion be with the beasts in the grass of the earth:
16. let his heart be changed from man's, and let a beast's heart be given unto him;
and let seven times pass over him.

25 And he shall speak words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High; and he shall think to change the times and the law; and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and half a time.

2. in the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood by the books the number of the years whereof the word of Jehovah came to Jeremiah the prophet, for the accomplishing of the desolations of Jerusalem, even seventy years.

7. And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven,
and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when they have made an end of breaking in pieces the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

12. Then the angel of Jehovah answered and said,
O Jehovah of hosts, how long wilt thou not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah,
against which thou hast had indignation these threescore and ten years?

24 .And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led captive into all the nations:
and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

that a hardening in part hath befallen Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in;

1. And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and one said, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

2. And the court which is without the temple leave without, and measure it not;
for it hath been given unto the nations: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

3. And I will give unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

9. And from among the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations do men look upon their dead bodies three days and a half, and suffer not their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb.

11. And after the three days and a half the breath of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them that beheld them.

6. And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that there they may nourish her a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

14. And there were given to the woman the two wings of the great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness unto her place,
where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

4. and they worshipped the dragon, because he gave his authority unto the beast; and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? And who is able to war with him?

5. and there was given to him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and there was given to him authority to continue forty and two months.

All the above quotes have to do with, or refer to , or were written regarding the same period of time.

But the Great Compositor of the prophecies have done several prophecies , from several points of view , because the truth is so deep, so profound or so high , and full of events ,that the humans languages could not retain all the knowledges and all the "jots" or "tittles" in only one prophecie !

And Jesus has promised that all these will be fulfilled
18." For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass away from the law, till all things be accomplished."

Now, Jesus call this period of "seven times of Gentiles" a Great Tribulation
Matthew 24
21. for then shall be great tribulation, such as hath not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever shall be.

22. And except those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

In fact, this operation of "cut short" of the tribulation was prophetised in/by the prophets :

Daniel 8:
13. Then I heard a holy one speaking; and another holy one said unto that certain one who spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the continual burnt-offering, and the transgression that maketh desolate, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?

14. And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred evenings and mornings; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.

and Hosea 6
1. Come, and let us return unto Jehovah; for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

2. After two days will he revive us: on the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live before him.


Let him who has God's Spirit think to these , and try to understand them !

We see that God, in His prophecies , uses two ways of exprimation for the lenght of time when the "MOL" reigns in Temple :
-- "seven times"
and
-- "three times and half time" .

With the "seven times" also correspond "2520 days"

and with the "three times and half time" correspond "1260 days" , "forty two months" and "three days and half"

In fact, all of these exprimation are symbolic , they do not means litterally 3 1/2 days or years or months, nor 7 years or days ... .
This is because it is Jehovah , the Master of time who decided the real lenght of 70 years for that period !

In Bible we find exprimed a reason for why did Jehovah used these two kind of measurement . By mouth of Jeremiah , He said
Jeremiah 16
18. And first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double, because they have polluted my land with the carcasses of their detestable things, and have filled mine inheritance with their abominations.

Knowing that all these "exprimations of periods" refer to a lenght of 70 years , all these are counted from the time when the MOL entered in position of "leaders" in Temple .

That happened in 8 January 1942 .

From that time is to be counted both "seven times" and "three times and half" .

So, the 70 years of domination of the MOL in Temple are to be ended in 2012.

But we have Jesus promission that the Great Tribulation will be shortened !
How much ?
It was promised to Daniel the following :
Daniel 8
14. And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred evenings and mornings; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.

The cleaning of the sanctuary has to start when the "2300 evenings and mornings" are fulfilled .
If "2520 days" means in reality 70 years, by using the math we find that
the "2300 days" means 63 years and 9 months and 18 days .

That means that from January 1942 adding the result we arrive to the month of October 2005 .

This is the time when from His high- enthroned position , Jesus Christ has begun to clean the Temple !

That doesn't mean that the MOL was overthrown that time , because the "70 years of Babylon" are not finished yet !
It means that Jesus have begun the action of "gathering the chosen ones" (Matthew 24:31 ). And that means/implies that He is giving light , or new understandings from Father's word to His intimates , and that helped them to become free from MOL's slavery , and gave to them the posibility to obey Father's command in Zechariah 2
7. Ho Zion, escape, thou that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.

The "day of judgement" lasts for a day , that is a day from the seven days/times , that is 10 years .
So, the period of Judgement is from October 2005 untill (October) 2015 .

Furthermore , may be found the following periods of time from Daniel 12
11. And from the time that the continual burnt-offering shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up,
there shall be a thousand and two hundred and ninety days.

12. Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

The "1290 days" are ending in summer 2013 .
The "1335 days" are ending in 2016 .

These biblical topics were studied and understood between 2001-2003 and were translated into English in 2007. they are based on materials published by an anointed brother, namely Brother Sas Gavril.
